Here are some simple things to remember as you care for your teeth and gums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Brush: <\/strong>Brush your teeth for two minutes, twice a day. Brush with gentle pressure, with a small amount of fluoride toothpaste. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and short, tooth-wide strokes. These should be at about a 45* angle to your gums. Brush every tooth\u2013inside, outside, and chewing surfaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Floss: <\/strong>Don\u2019t forget to floss your teeth once a day, every day. Use about 18 inches of ADA-approved dental floss and use it to gently remove plaque and food particles from between teeth using a sawing motion.
